May 30th - June 1st - Long Beach, CA - 2008 Parrots International Symposium takes place on the HMS Queen Mary. The 2008 theme is “Parrots of the Caribbean.” The convention presentations are focused on parrot conservation and field research projects as well as general interest parrot-related topics relating to both wild and companion parrots. The two-day symposium features experts from South America, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, the Bahamas, Bonaire, Jamaica, Trinidad, Europe, the United States and more.
